Cunda Cotton Linen Turkish Peshtemal Towel, 37 x 73 Inch Striped

The Cunda cotton linen Turkish towel is a flat-woven peshtemal named for the Aegean island. A natural oatmeal ground is crossed with terracotta, rust and charcoal stripes in a sun-faded palette that looks at home against stone, timber and sand, making it a beach towel that also earns a place in the bathroom.

Key Features

• Cotton and linen blend: The linen breaks in over time and the weave opens up, absorbing more with every wash.
• Sand shakes off: The flat weave has no pile for grit to settle into.
• Dries between swims: Holds far less water than terry, so it never turns heavy in a beach bag.
• Packs flat: Two of these take up less room than one terry bath sheet.
• Many jobs: Use it as a bath sheet, lounger cover, beach blanket for one, picnic throw, shawl or sofa throw.
• Traditional finish: Woven on traditional looms with hand-knotted fringe.

Care & Assembly

Wash before first use. Machine wash cool, tumble dry low and iron on low heat. Do not bleach, dry clean or use fabric softener, which coats the fibers and reduces absorbency. Wash with similar colors for the first couple of cycles to keep the terracotta rich.
